NOSS Informational Meeting InformationThe National Science Foundation NeTS-NOSS Informational Meeting will be held on October 18, 2005 (note date change) at Harvard University. The links on the left provide information on transportation and hotels. The meeting will take place in Maxwell Dworkin Hall, Room G115, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The purpose of this informational meeting is to share the goals and scope of the NOSS focus area with those who hope to be funded by the NOSS program. By including presentations from researchers, vendors, and applications experts, this meeting will enable attendees to get a sense of the state of the art in sensor networks, and the key challenges facing the focus area and sub-areas thereof. The meeting will also provide a venue for NSF to discuss logistics for the focus area and for the overall networking program, and to answer questions from the community. The informational meeting is open to all interested members of the scientific community. Please note that space is limited to 150 attendees, so please register as soon as possible. Hotel information is found on the links to the left. Harvard University is located in Cambridge, MA and the nearest airport is Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS). Transport from the airport to Cambridge is possible by taxi or subway. Registration: Registration for the informational meeting is now closed. Due to space and budgetary constraints, we cannot accept late or on-site registrations. Slides and videos of the presentations will be made available on this Web site shortly after the meeting.
