Background

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Harvard's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, working with H. T. Kung.

I recently received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard. Prior to that, I worked in industry for 8 years -- most recently at Glance Networks. Oddly enough, I received my A.B. in Biochemical Sciences, also from Harvard.

You can find more on my LinkedIn profile.

Outside of academics, I'm a member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Kendo Club (HRKC) and am on the Board of Directors of the HRKC Alumni Association.

Research Interests

My research interests are centered around systems (e.g., cloud infrastructures), networks (e.g., of the wireless ad-hoc kind) and coding theory (e.g., compressive sensing). Recently, I've been making a foray into statistical machine learning. I also maintain an interest in topics at the boundaries between computer science and biochemistry, such as computational chemistry and bioinformatics.
