I just completed my Ph.D. at Harvard with David Parkes.

I am now a postdoc at MIT CSAIL working with Rob Miller.

Starting Fall 2013, I will be an assistant professor at Northwestern EECS and the Segal Design Institute.

My research focuses on advancing our ability to design and study social and economic systems on the Web to promote desired participant behaviors and outcomes. Problems I study are motivated by the transformative conditions on the Internet, notably the ability to recruit individuals with diverse expertise to join problem solving efforts via crowdsourcing and social media, and the ability to track complex individual and group behaviors over time. My research is generously supported by the NSF and NDSEG fellowships.
