I am a PhD. candidate of Computer Science in the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. I work under the direction of Professor Mike Smith. I am interested in data mining, text mining machine learning techniques and visualization systems. My background includes information retrieval, data bases, data mining and knowledge bases. I am currently investigating language representations used for the semantic web and its utility for knowledge representation and event, emotion, sentiment and trend identification.
