During my master's program I took a 10 point ECTS course which demanded experimental research of a topic in modern artificial intelligence.
I chose the topic of reinforced learning used in obstacle avoidance. For this purpose I designed and constructed three robots equipped with Maxon sponsored motors, vision and touch sensors. Furthermore I added a wireless link, not for control, but to survey the learning routines. I also constructed a track for the robots to run in and by the end of the semester the robots were able to learn how to avoid the sides of the track and each other within 15 minutes.
