The "Beatles"

Hard- and software platform developed at MMMI, Odense, Denmark, for experiments with reinforcement learning. The robots move using differential steering (and maxon sponsored motors), are able to perceive obstacles in front using 3 IR transceivers, and a bump sensor. Their behavior is controlled on-board by an ATmel processor, and they are equipped with a wireless radio to transmit information of their learning progress to a nearby computer. The software developed teaches the robots how to avoid bumping into the boundary of their arena and other robots within 10-15 minutes.
