In August 2007, we deployed a network of eight wireless sensors at Tungurahua Volcano,
Ecuador, to monitor seismic and infrasonic signals. This was our third volcano sensor network deployment, and is part of an ongoing collaboration between Harvard University, UNC, and New Mexico Tech to develop portable, wireless sensors for monitoring hazardous volcanoes. This work is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and Microsoft Corporation. Click here for the main project page.
