Tobacco Caye
We flew to Belize City on New Year's Eve, arriving by lunchtime, and hopped onto a 15-minute flight in a single-prop plane to Dangriga, a town on the Caribbean coast. From there it was a 30-minute boat ride out to Tobacco Caye, one of the best places I have visited in a long time. You are looking at the whole island right here: you could easily throw a coconut from one end to the other (not that I tried).
