Laguna Verde
This lake, at 14432 feet (4400 m) lies at the extreme southwestern corner of Bolivia, very near the border with Chile. This is one of the most beautiful and surreal places I have ever been -- the waters are bright green, and the snowcapped peak of Volcán Lcancabur rises in the background.
