Copacabana
After completing the trek we spent time in Copacabana and the Isla del Sol, on Lake Titicaca, which lies on the border between Bolivia and Perú. This is a view of the moorish style cathedral in Copacabana. Lake Titicaca, at 12530 feet (3820 m) is often called the highest navigable lake in the world, and it's a beautiful place. Here we met a large number of other travellers -- mainly backpackers en route between Bolivia and Perú, as Lake Titcaca is on the route to Cuzco.
