La Paz
One of the many street markets in La Paz. The streets of the city are often choked with busses, cars, trucks, and people; getting around by foot was often quite nerve-wracking, epecially when crossing the street. As far as we could tell there are no traffic laws in Bolivia; automobiles routinely ignored street signs and stoplights, and we finally learned to cross the street by taking it on faith that nobody would hit us!
