Volcán Tungurahua
After a rest at the refugio I stumbled up the hill with Omar and Danny
to check out the seismic station. At this point I was starting to feel
the effects of altitude sickness (we had gained over 2000 m in elevation
from Baños to the refugio in just a few hours). The antennas here
are transmitting seismic data back to the observatory and thence to
the IGEPN in Quito.
