Baños
Banños is a beautiful town nestled in the
mountains, about three hours south of Quito by bus. It is also directly
underneath Volcán Tungurahua, and therefore in the danger zone
should there be a large pyroclastic flow or lahar following an
eruption. For the time being it is a gorgeous place, wonderful climate,
and very friendly. Here is the Basilica Nuestra Señora de Agua
