Reventador volcano

Jonathan Lees with one of our sensor stations. The 8.5 dBi omni antenna is mounted on a PVC pipe and the sensor node is in the blue case at its base. The microphone (not really visible here) is attached to the base of the antenna pole and the seismometer is buried in the ground to the left of the antenna. We deployed 16 of these stations and achieved a radio range in excess of 400 meters between stations with these antennas.
