Near Lalibela
This stunning church, Yemrehanna Kristos, is built inside of a large cave, about 2 hours' drive (on a very bad road) from Lalibela. Behind the church there is an enormous pile of corpes and skeletons, centuries old, supposedly of pilgrims who ventured to this cave.
