Kanpur
My exploration of Kanpur was mostly conducted on foot, and covered around 4 miles in the area around the railway station. During that time I saw hardly any restaurants or shopping areas; mostly a bunch of industrial supply stores. I was armed only with a poor sketch map of the major roads of the city, but without any scale attached to it -- it turned out to be much larger and more spread out than I assumed.
