Nong Khiaw
Further downriver we spent the night in Nong Khiaw, another town that has become popular with backpackers heading up the Nam Ou, but surprisingly a lot less touristy than Muang Ngoi just an hour upriver. Here we are on the concrete bridge spanning the Nam Ou, one of the only real bridges that we saw crossing the river between Luang Prabang and Hat Sa!
