Bangkok, Wat Phra Kaew
After a grueling series of flights, totalling about 23 hours, we finally arrived in Bangkok (via LA and Hong Kong). We had a stopover there for one night, so there was little time to do any real sightseeing. We stayed in a cheap ($8) hotel in Banglamphu, and managed to walk around Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace. This is one of the buildings at Wat Phra Kaew; the architecture there is really amazing.
