Trekking in Langtang: Kyangjin
Kyangjin (sometimes called Kyangjin Gompa) at 3900m/12800 ft is the last village in the Langtang valley with accomodation for trekkers; beyond that you have to camp. This was an amazing and beautiful place; we stayed for 4 days. The snow-covered peaks are Langtang Lirung and Langtang II (6760m/21700 ft) with a large glacier between them. On the right-hand side of the photo is the Snow View lodge, where we stayed.
