On route to Baiau
Getting to Baiau village requires a full day of travel on very bad roads. The "PMVs" are now just open-bed pickup trucks, in this case loaded down with 20 people and their luggage! That's my backpack strapped to the roof of the car. At this point I am walking up the hill behind the truck (with most of the other men) as the weight was too much to make it uphill.
