Mt. Hagen
I flew to Mt. Hagen, up in the PNG highlands, and met Amy at the airport there. It took nearly 24 hours for the whole trip (SF to Sydney to Brisbane to Port Moresby to Mt. Hagen). Mt. Hagen is little more than a dusty dodgy town in the mountains, but we ended up staying at a lodge just out of town called Haus Poroman - very nice. As soon as we hopped in the truck at the airport, Amy starts talking with the driver in tok pisin - amazing!
