Gunung Bromo
These are the steps up to the summit of Gunung Bromo. A number of men hang out around here and offer horse rentals across the "Sea of Sand" to and from the volcano and the surrounding crater rim. This image looks like something from the mountains of Afghanistan rather the middle of Indonesia!
