Travels in Malaysia and Indonesia - July-August 2000

From July 23 to August 22, 2000, Amy and I travelled through Malaysia and Indonesia. We trekked in the jungles of Borneo, climbed the highest mountain in Southeast Asia, ate in dodgy street markets, went scuba diving off of the world-famous Pulau Sipadan, visited the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and climbed to the rim of an active volcano at sunrise. In all it wasn't a bad trip!

These photos were taken on a Canon EOS Rebel 2000, with a 28-300mm zoom lens as well as a 24mm wide-angle. The underwater photos were taken with a Sea & Sea MX-10. I shot 18 rolls of film, and Amy took 8, so obviously the pictures shown here are just the highlights!
