(Prospective) Students and Collaborators

One of the principal attractions of statistical signal processing lies in the rich opportunities it presents for cross-disciplinary interaction. To this end I am always eager to hear from researchers and students who may be interested in pursuing collaborations.

My work aims to bring a strong theoretical foundation to bear toward practically relevant problems. Now more than ever, mathematics and statistics can and should inspire advances in signal processing, and vice-versa. To this end there is a corresponding need for research at the border between applied mathematics and the engineering sciences, requiring both a solid fundamental background and practical experience.

This philosophy is reflected across our Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, as we work to enhance and sustain a vital, exciting, and vigorous intellectual community.
