Software Engineer, Google
shailij AT gmail DOT com

I am a software engineer at Google, working on Ads Metrics. Previously, I was an applied researcher at Microsoft working on display advertising. Before that, I was a postdoc at Yale University hosted by Joan Feigenbaum. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2010 at Harvard University, where I was advised by David Parkes.

My work was generously supported by an NSF-CRA Computing Innovations Fellowship, an AT&T Labs Fellowship, an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship.

Before Harvard, I was an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, where I studied Mathematics and Computer Science. In my free time, I enjoy rock-climbing, yoga, hiking, and being a foodie.

Here is my CV.
